Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. Woman of the Year Awards
Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. Woman of the Year Awards program is designed to recognize the success of female entrepreneurs across the region. Each year, Fidelity Bank P.O.W.E.R. honors three outstanding members: the Woman of the Year Award, the Newcomer of the Year Award, recognizing a new P.O.W.E.R. member who has experienced significant growth since joining the program, and the Advocate of the Year Award. The honorees are selected from a pool of nominees submitted by Fidelity Bank Financial Center Leaders and Officers.
Award Descriptions & Criteria
Fidelity Bank officers nominate one P.O.W.E.R. member for Woman of the Year and one P.O.W.E.R. member for Newcomer of the Year. No public nominations will be accepted. Nominations shall be based on the following criteria: positive community involvement, professional and personal achievement, support of fellow female entrepreneurs, and alignment with the core values of Fidelity Bank.
To be considered for Woman of the Year, nominees must:
- be an active P.O.W.E.R. member in good standing (to be verified by Fidelity Bank)
- be in business for at least three years
- be part of P.O.W.E.R. Program for at least two years
To be considered for the Newcomer of the Year Award, nominees must:
- be an active P.O.W.E.R. member in good standing (to be verified by Fidelity Bank)
- be in business for at least one year and/or new to the P.O.W.E.R. Program (two years or less)
